Autumn Life LLC was conceived after spending a great deal of time as a Hospice volunteer serving patients in their homes, assisted living and nursing facilities. Throughout this wonderful and fulfilling experience, I came to realize that people need companionship nearly as much as they need food and water. I have a very deep and sincere concern for our seniors and believe that they should have alternatives made available to them. No senior should have to live alone without companionship. Just having someone to talk with, watch TV with, or review lifelong memories and share photos with can make a world of difference in one’s life.
Over fifty percent of seniors residing in assisted living or nursing facilities receive NO visitors. I personally don’t care for “people statistics”; however, this one is extremely disturbing. I began to have visions of a company that, with compassionate caregivers, could have an impact on that statistic. Autumn Life LLC was formed in 2003. Nothing pleases me more than to see our caregivers developing close personal bonds with our clients. The next step was to implement other practical services to complete the goal. We offer many non-medical services to help our clients achieve a higher quality of life. Some of these other services are listed on our “services” page. We take great pride in the honesty and integrity of all of our committed staff, management and caregivers alike. We sincerely hope that Autumn Life LLC will continue to grow and have a positive impact on many seniors and their families.
